Woody is proud to be sponsored by Brenda Marshall – big licks and sniffs!

Sue Leong sponsored Woody Woody and he says a big wet thank you Sue!

Woody barks at the news that he is kindly sponsored by Susan Tognolini!

Woody is about 3 years old.  He is a lovely companion and friendly to all.  It also doesn’t hurt that he is a gorgeous black and brown German dog.

This guy is a young stud and he needs a lot of exercise, friends and attention.  The good thing is that he will go anywhere, anytime with his people.  Load him in the car, take him on a hike, go to the park or even a leisurely walk, Woody is up for it.  But, here’s the thing: Woody is extremely affectionate, but he really wants the company of other dogs.  He loves to explore with them, run with them, hang out with them; he’s calm and happy.  He will check in with his person regularly, but he’s off again with his doggie pals.  The more busy he is inside and out, the better for Woody.  He would likely be a great dog to watch over a flock of children.

Woody would be a great take to work dog, but he still wants to be busy with people and dogs.  If he’s left home, he needs the company of other dogs and people.  He does not have separation anxiety, but we’re trying to avoid that for the rest of Woody’s life.

Woody has nice manners, is obedience trained, can sleep in or out of a crate, and he’s comfortable outside in the company of other dogs.  He has a nice alarm bark on him, but he is not a watch dog; he’s too much of a lover for that.  He’s exceptionally affectionate and gazes into his person’s eyes while his head is cradled in human hands.  He’s really a sweetheart.  He’s also a licker to his people and strangers alike.

Woody is a level 2 boy, living in the east bay.
