My name is Zelma. I’m a one year old black and tan enthusiastic girl GSD.
My new friends at BAGSR think I am a very nice sweet girl but with lots of unused energy – especially because I am still a youngster. I do need some training and some activities to keep me busy and provide me with some regular exercise.
I am a friendly girl and love attention. At my age, it’s important that my new family expose me to lots of situations and people so that I can grow up to be a confident and well behaved young lady.
I will admit I’m not very good on leash yet. But you shouldn’t be worried about that because that’s nothing that the right training won’t fix. Leash walks will be great exercise (for both of us-hahaha) once I get some practice under my belt.
Oh…I do love to play ball! I’ve also heard about agility courses and would love to try that out someday. My personality kind of fits with that kind of “work”.
I am crate trained and have nice house manners.
I haven’t had a lot of experience with other “regular sized” dogs but do have a high prey drive and will chase cats and small dogs. So a critter free household is a must for me please!
You’ll probably laugh at my silly puppy antics but will soon realize that we’ll have more fun when I learn proper manners, have some structure and learn how to focus. I’ll be happy to follow consistent leadership!
If you are looking for some fun…maybe you’d like to meet me! I’ll be waiting in Vallejo.
